Yes, that’s a lemon in the microwave. When first installed, the microwave made all the appropriate noises, but did not heat anything. I figured it was due to operator error—me—so I did something I almost never do. I READ the instructions. All of them. As a last resort, I called the dealer who sent someone right out. He made some adjustments and it worked again, but only for a day. I was back on the phone to the dealer, this time requesting a replacement part.
What went wrong? Turns out something fried inside the appliance. Check out the photo and you can see the burn marks. Once that part was replaced, it worked better than new!
